Volunteers

The hospice volunteer is perhaps the most valuable member of the InFinity Care Team. Hospice volunteers come from all walks of life. They range in age from young to more mature. A volunteer may have been a spouse or family member of a former patient. They may be a high school or college student. In some cases, a volunteer is a former hospice patient.

Our volunteers are key members of The Hospice team that helps adults and children deal with illness, grief and loss. Whether you choose to work directly with patients and families or to volunteer in any of a hundred other ways, you'll be making a difference in someone's life.

As a volunteer, you can do almost anything.Hold a hand. Drive a car. Use a computer. Plan a golf tournament. Address envelopes. Feed a pet. Make a speech. Bake a cake. Clean a house. Listen to cherished memories. Pat a shoulder. Give a hug. Touch a heart. Change a life (maybe your own).

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer you may choose from volunteer opportunities throughout the greater Tulsa area:

  • Patient and family support
  • Office work
  • Community information and outreach
  • Special events
  • ...and much, much more

We also have a program that enables High School students to make hospice volunteering a part of their educational experience.

For more information on becoming a volunteer or to learn about how you or someone you love can benefit from volunteer services, complete the information form below or call InFinity Care of Tulsa. Ask for the Director of Volunteer Services.
